TINA B. 2006 – THE FIRST EDITION
Tina B. - The Prague Contemporary Art Festival 2006, opened on May 18 and finished on June 27, 2006, presenting a series of international exhibitions, performances and installations throughout the city, as well as hosting educational activities and other special events. Organized by a team of local and international curators, Tina B. endeavors to combine the creative energy of Prague and neighboring Central and Eastern Europe with emerging talents and trends from around the world.
Various exhibitions were presented at historic and prestigious locations throughout the centre of Prague and the surrounding area during the seven-week festival. Artworks by approximately 90 artists from countries including Canada, Finland, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Austria, Japan, Sweden, and the United States, as well as by local Czech artists, were on view.
