Tina B. – The Prague Contemporary Art Festival, Central Europe’s latest international contemporary art event, strives to combine the creative energy of the cultural scene in Central and Eastern Europe with emerging talents and trends from around the world. The festival is held under the auspices and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the City of Prague.
Tina B. 2007 has already featured more than 70 artists from over 15 countries.
Starting September 12 and concluding October 20, the Main Event of Tina B.’s second edition took art and the general public to unusual locations, piercing the aura of the conventional and often marginalized art space. Tina B. 2007 brought new media art genres, such as Digital Video Art and Sound Art, together with more traditional forms such as large scale sculpture and performance.

The festival included diverse public educational and social events, as well as once again hosting a high profile Special Events Week, which ran from October 2 - October 8.
ONGOING PROJECTS
In 2007, Tina B. is presenting a number of innovative art projects, including Mobile Video Art: THE INTIMATE LIFE OF THE GLOBAL VILLAGE and Billboard Text Art: EMERGING WOR(L)DS, both of which started in June.

In June, Tina B. kicked-off its second edition with an innovative and groundbreaking project: Mobile Video Art: THE INTIMATE LIFE OF THE GLOBAL VILLAGE, the world’s first festival of VIDEO ART created using the multimedia mobile telephone. Also launched in June, another highlight is a one-year project entitled EMERGING WOR(L)DS featuring textual and word-based art interventions on billboards throughout Prague.
